Description
Diala is a new pineapple melon variety characterized primarily by the high firmness of its fruit and its long shelf life.
This variety has very vigorous plants that provide good leaf yield for its oval-shaped fruit.
These fruits are highly uniform and covered with a very dense net.
The internal cavity is small to medium in size, and the flesh is a pleasant, deep orange color.
Diala produces a yield of approximately 5-7 fruits per plant, with an average fruit weight of approximately 3-4 kg and a Brix level of approximately 13°Bx.
